Serato Video is a plug-in, which enables DJs to manipulate video playback with Serato DJ software Scratch Live and ITCH, is out now. Based on the popular Video-SL plug-in, Serato Video now gives. Scratch Live can be downloaded from While Scratch Live can be used without anything other than the program, many of the enhanced features are only available when connected to a Serato capable mixer like the Rane TTM57 mixers available for use at WSUM. As a standalone program without a mixer, Scratch Live can be used to build and prepare what are known as Crates.

Serato Video 1.1 (Legacy)
Serato Video 1.1, for Serato Scratch Live and ITCH users, includes some great features such as, Delay Compensation, a dedicated Video View, Auto/ Random Transitions and the Media Crate.
KEY FEATURES OF SERATO VIDEO 1.1
Delay Compensation:
Use Delay Compensation to shift the video stream forward or backwards independently of the audio. This can be used to compensate for front of house issues with audio and video streams being out of sync.
Dedicated Video View:
A dedicated GUI view in Scratch Live or ITCH for video mixing is available. This automatically positions the Serato Video Preview screens alongside the virtual decks, and the Mix Preview within the waveform display to give you more space for your library, SP-6 Sample Player or FX.
Auto/ Random Transitions:
With Auto/ Random Transitions, you can automatically load a different transition effect on track load. These can be either selected in sequence or randomly and is a great way of keeping your video sets interesting and varied.
Media Crate:
/serato-scratch-live-software-price.html. One of the most exciting features in Serato Video 1.1 is the Media Crate. This is a special crate, where you are able to hold a library of video files to be automatically loaded to any track without an associated video file.
