This is a completely free multi-sampled DX7 instrument app for iPad with over 50+ sounds, and is multi-sampled from a DX7, DX7II, plus some bonus TX81z presets. It looks really nice, behaves really nice and sounds fantastic. Did I mention it's free?

2. Oct 28, 2019  Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer. Synths were everywhere in the '80s, and this synth was damned near ubiquitous. Unleashed in 1983, it featured Yamaha's all-digital FM synthesis and received a somewhat unfair reputation for being hard to program. Not that it mattered to most users, who were more than happy to tinkle away on the factory presets.

The Yamaha DX7 is a synthesizer manufactured by the Yamaha Corporation from 1983 to 1989. It was the first successful digital synthesizer and is one of the bestselling synthesizers in history, selling over 200,000 units. In the early 1980s, the synthesizer market was dominated by analog synthesizers. It doesn't have to be called a DX7. It doesn't have to sound exactly like a DX7. It doesn't have to come from Yamaha. • Yes top marks for app design and workflow. This plays and automates really well in BM3.

  If the Encyclotronic one of Eno patches doesn’t down load, use the CDM link to Encyclotronic and sign up on their site..

  if the Syx file have a space or hyphen in the name they will crash. A lot don't load as well but when they do it's pretty impressive as a recreation. Very nice, was waiting for an AU which was DX7 compatible

  Crashed and reinstalled 4 times, loading .zips from web. The links I have above are the vetted ones, non borking

  Haven't worked out how to transfer banks over to the Audio unit from the main app yet. If you save in the Audio unit section it doesn't appear in the AU, maybe a bug. iCloud works though so far..

  Working well here..so many good patches, but what are like gold are a bunch of the FX sounds. Best ATT ring tone sound evah. Things of their time. Lovely harvesting.
